After receiving the fantastic news that she would be the mother of triplet boys, this mother wasn't expecting another surprise. Britain's Becki-Jo Allen, 23, discovered that her children Rocco, Roman and Rohan are genetically identical. The chance of that happening is one in 200 million.

The children were born nine weeks early

All these boys spent a month and a half hospitalized in the neonatal intensive care unit. Because of the odds, the doctors who attended the boys didn't think they were identical triplets. But on returning home with the three babies, most family and friends could not tell who was who, other than mom Becki-Jo.

"I don't get them mixed up - it's only when they're asleep that they look the same to me. They all have completely different personalities." said Becki-Jo.

So, she decided to do a DNA test to see if the boys were identical triplets or not

After constantly getting stopped in the street by strangers asking if her three boys were identical, she went ahead and did the DNA test.

And the results? Yes, the triplets were genetically identical. "I was always convinced they weren't [identical], because that's what I had been told during my pregnancy," said Becki-Jo.

The mother never expected to have twins, much less triplets. "We haven't got any triplets in the family so it came completely out of the blue," said the lucky mother.

The boys wear 130 diapers a week, plus four packs of wipes. To feed the children you need a can of formula every two days.

In addition to the three boys, Becki-Jo has a three-year-old daughter who is not jealous of her siblings and loves to take care of the little ones.

10 things you do not normally clean but really should https://www.familytoday.com/self-care/10-things-you-do-not-normally-clean-but-really-should/ Wed, 16 Mar 2016 06:30:01 +0000 http://www.famifi.com/oc/10-things-you-do-not-normally-clean-but-really-should/ You're probably missing these things that need to be cleaned frequently for the sake of your family's health and safety.

In the rush of everyday life we sometimes skip important cleaning details; but, trust me, some of those corners or items are actually real enemies when it comes to your family's health. Bacteria and fungi love targeting places like the kitchen because, like you, this is also where they get food and water-a perfect combination to create disease outbreaks.

These places and items require constant cleaning:

1. Sponges and dishcloths

Did you know that these vessels have more germs than the toilet of your bathroom? They may seem clean, but bacteria and fungi love to settle in them because of the moisture and food scraps.

There are 3 ways to clean them.

Bleach: Leave the sponge and dishcloth in a mixture of bleach and water for 15 minutes. If you don't have bleach, you can use hydrogen peroxide. You need to bleach them once a week.

Microwave: Microwave them for 1 or 2 minutes.

Dishwasher: Throw them in the dishwasher with your dishes and leave them in until the end of the dry cycle.

If your sponge is smelly or a different color or texture, throw it away!

2. Stove crack

Food particles have a nasty way of finding their way to that awkward space between the stove and the countertop. The residue buildup it creates is a nasty place. Pull away the stove to sweep and wipe out the buildup.

3. Reusable bags

You know those cloth or reusable plastic bags you take to the store? Those need a good cleaning as well. Food remnants within the bag can grow bacteria and contaminate the next food you haul home in it.

4. Refrigerators and the shelves

The refrigerator is also a place that needs attention. You can use soap and water to clean it. Don't forget to clean the door racks, remove and wash the drawers and also clean the freezer.

5. The top of your furniture

When was the last time you cleaned the top of your refrigerator, cabinets, lamps, frames or windows? They secretly accumulate a lot of dust.

6. Ceiling Fan

Just because it is in motion, doesn't mean it won't get dusty. Take a look at the blades of your fan and see for yourself.

7. Small electronics

Your remote control, cell phone, tablet and headphones need a to be cleaned regularly. Use a disinfectant or alcohol swab. Phones and tablets require special products. Check the company website for the best cleaning options.

8. Broom

Your broom needs cleaning. After all, dirt is trapped in the bristles. Warm water and soap are ideal to take out the dirt. The plastic above the bristles will also need to be decontaminated.

9. Hats, scarves, gloves

Sometimes we forget these pieces also need to be washed. Put your accessories in a gentle cycle together, or hand wash them. If you have leather gloves, you can clean them with special leather products.

10. Hamper

Wipe your hamper with a damp cloth and sprinkle baking soda to absorb bad odors. If it is washable, throw it in the machine with your next load.

The desire to have a child is sometimes so strong that we set aside the fact that the life we currently "‹"‹lead will change dramatically the moment we pass through the door of motherhood and hold our sweet baby for the first time. Having personally stepped through this door in the last year, I have found there are certain things every new or expecting mother should know.

What you should expect

1. Friends without children will become a little distant for a while.

2. Your subject of conversation during pregnancy is pregnancy.

3. Your subject of conversation after birth will be your new baby.

4. You will be afraid that you will not like your baby.

5. Pregnancy clothes are expensive. Get ready.

6. You will discover that your old clothes are not suitable for breastfeeding.

7. Your baby will grow out of clothes quickly.

8. You will better understand your mother.

9. The first night at home after birth is the scariest.

10. Your sleep will become light as a feather.

11. Sometimes you will miss the freedom you had before motherhood.

12. You will receive lots of advice. Listen patiently. Do what you think best.

13. Your name will change to "Mommy" overnight.

14. You will make friends because of your child.

15. You will be amazed at the energy your baby has, even after a sleepless night.

16. Breastfeeding should not hurt. This only happens if the baby is positioned on the breast the wrong way.

17. You will do things your mother did.

18. You will become a "professional photographer."

19. Having a baby changes your body. There is no way around it.

20. Sex with your husband will be different. However, things will become normal again over time.

21. Most of your purchases will be for your child.

22. You will begin to wonder how you ever lived without your precious baby.

Tips and advice

23. Lemon juice helps morning sickness and everything that comes along with it in the first months of pregnancy.

24. Go out to the movies, theater and concerts. Time will soon be scarce.

25. Get lots of sleep. When the baby is born, you will understand the importance of this advice.

26. Keep up your exercise routine.

27. Take pictures during pregnancy.

28. Buy only what is necessary. Extra things become useless quickly.

29. Chamomile tea eases discomfort in the breast.

30. If you do not love your doctor, find a new one.

31. Take your husband to ultrasound examinations or monthly medical visits. It is nice to have someone there to share the happiness with, and you will find that it will make you more united.

32. Don't panic every time your baby cries. It is highly unlikely they are dying. Crying is just their only way to communicate.

33. Do not buy clothes hoping to lose weight.

34. It is easiest to lose weight in the first year after having the baby.

35. Do not be ashamed to ask a visitor to wash their hands before holding your newborn.

36. Give all of your attention to your baby for the first few months.

37. Take time to enjoy the little moments. It is beautiful to see your little one discover this new life and world around him.

Cherish every minute of your pregnancy, preparation and newborn miracle in your arms. Being a mother is one of the greatest joys in life.

Matt and Jamie Seifert had almost completed their wedding party plans when the sad news came: Pat, the grandmother of the bride, could not attend. She was hospitalized a week before the ceremony.

Since the venue and other plans had already been completed, the date couldn't be changed, so the solution was to surprise her grandmother. The couple and some guests left the party after the ceremony and went to the hospital. When the couple entered Pat's room, she couldn't control her emotions.

Watch the video and wow yourself with this beautiful tribute.

Pat was able to cherish one of the most important moments of her granddaughter's life and participate with photos and lots of laughter.
