Rumer Willis, daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, opened up about her unusually close relationship with her mother and sisters, acknowledging that some of their shared rituals might seem unconventional to others.

In a heartfelt conversation on the “What in the Winkler?!” podcast, the 36-year-old daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore opened up about the intimate family rituals she’s kept alive into adulthood. From co-sleeping with her own daughter to still taking baths with her sisters, Rumer made it clear that her family is anything but conventional — and she wouldn’t have it any other way.

“I co-sleep with Louetta and have not spent a night away from her since she was born,” she said, referring to her almost two-year-old daughter. “I hope Lou will still sleep in bed with me when she’s my age. I still sleep in bed with my mom and I don’t think it’s weird.”

It’s a level of connection that some might find surprising, but for Rumer and her sisters, Scout, 33, and Tallulah, 31, it’s part of the fabric of their uniquely bonded upbringing. “We all still take baths together, my sisters and I,” she shared. “And that’s just the kind of house that I grew up in.”

She added with a laugh, “People might think that that’s crazy and weird, but I don’t.”

Rumer went on to reflect on societal expectations of independence and how quickly children are expected to separate from their parents. “I always think about it as, imagine if you took a baby gorilla or a dog when it was two weeks old or three months old, and had it sleep in a different room than [its] mom,” she said. “Everyone would look at you like you were crazy.”

“Yet we’re like, ‘Oh no, that kid can sleep through the night. It’s got to fend for themselves, got to learn how to self-soothe.’ They can’t even feed themselves!”

She drove her point home with honesty and humor: “By the way, we as adults don’t even know how to self-soothe. People drink wine, people do drugs, people eat an entire tub of ice cream.”

Though her parents, Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, divorced in 2000 after 13 years of marriage, Rumer credits them with creating a model of enduring love and family unity that continues to influence her own parenting journey.

“Even when they split up, they created such a beautiful foundation of prioritizing my sisters and I, that I never felt like I had to choose,” Rumer said during a recent appearance on the British show Loose Women. “They never played against each other. We were a family, and we still are very much a family no matter what.”

The close-knit blended family has continued to celebrate holidays and major milestones together — including rallying in support of Bruce following his 2022 diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia.

As Rumer continues her journey as a mother, she holds the example of her own siblings and upbringing close to heart. In an “Ask Me Anything” session last year, she confirmed she’s open to having more children — largely because of the joy her sisters bring to her life.

“Having siblings is one of the best parts of my entire life,” she wrote. “Scout, Tallulah, Mabel and Evelyn are my best friends and favorite people, and I want that for Lou.”

In a world that often praises independence above intimacy, Rumer Willis is boldly choosing closeness — whether it’s sharing a bathtub or a bedtime. And in doing so, she’s reminding us all that sometimes, the strongest family bonds are built in the most tender and unexpected ways.

Jana Kramer is opening up about her biggest regret surrounding her decision to get breast implants, admitting that she wasn’t entirely motivated by personal choice.

In a recent episode of her podcast, Whine Down, the country singer spoke with guest Kristen Brust, who was considering a breast reduction and lift. As Brust expressed hesitation, Kramer encouraged her to make the decision for herself.

“I don’t find it superficial at all in wanting to get a lift so that you can have that confidence,” Kramer said. “You don’t need that… but if it’s something you want for yourself, that’s okay.”

Kramer then reflected on her own experience, admitting that her decision to get implants stemmed from deeper insecurities rather than personal desire.

“My biggest regret with my boobs is that I don’t know if I solely did it for me,” she confessed. “And that’s my biggest piece of advice—it has to be 100% for you.”

At the time, Kramer was in a tumultuous marriage with ex-husband Mike Caussin, who had been unfaithful. She recalled comparing herself to the women he cheated with and feeling inadequate.

“I was in a marriage where my husband was cheating all the time, and I would see the women he was cheating with, and I’m like, ‘I look nothing like them,’” she shared. “So when I was presented with [getting implants], I thought about it for a while and convinced myself, ‘Maybe if I had bigger boobs, he wouldn’t cheat, or he’d find me sexier.’”

While Kramer initially struggled with body image after having children, she admitted that she enjoyed the results of the procedure—at least for a while.

“After two kids, they sagged really bad, and certain things just didn’t go back to looking the same,” she said. “So people would look at them and be like, ‘Oh my goodness,’ and I felt gross.”

Despite her regret over her original motivation, she acknowledged that she felt good about her body after the procedure. “Obviously, I loved it. I had a lot of fun with them post-divorce,” she joked.

Kramer and Caussin, who were married in 2015, finalized their divorce in July 2021 following years of infidelity. Caussin, a former NFL player, publicly admitted to cheating multiple times and sought treatment for sex addiction in 2016. The former couple shares two children: 9-year-old daughter Jolie Rae and 6-year-old son Jace Joseph.

Since then, Kramer has moved on and found happiness with her new husband, Allan Russell. The couple married in July 2024 and welcomed a son, Roman.

Looking ahead, Kramer revealed she is now considering removing her implants altogether.

“I would actually like to take out my implants and just lift them again,” she shared.

She added, “I kind of want it to be more natural and not have an implant. So when that time comes to redo them again, I don’t think I would put them back in.”

Kramer’s candid reflection highlights the importance of making decisions for oneself—rather than for external validation.

On "Cobra Kai," they’ve played everything from enemies to boyfriend-girlfriend to teammates, but in real life, it’s a love match for Tanner Buchanan and Mary Mouser

The pair have kept their romance under wraps until now, sharing a kiss and holding up hands, showing matching rings on the red carpet for the series finale premiere on February 12. They confirmed the engagement on Valentine’s Day, with Mary Mouser posting on Instagram, “We’re so happy to finally share that we’re engaged. This is such a special moment in our lives, the closing of one chapter and celebrating the continuation of another. We’re so grateful for the love and support, and though we’re partial to having our private moments, we’re excited to share this check-in to our world 🖤

The couple also expressed gratitude for the support they've received, mentioning their preference for privacy but their excitement about sharing this news with their followers.

The revelation of their relationship came as a surprise to many fans. One person commented, "They are together!?!?" while another said, "Am I the only one who didn’t know they were together?"

Buchanan and Mouser's on-screen chemistry in the second and third seasons of "Cobra Kai" seems to have translated into real life. At the finale event, Buchanan told People that Mouser has been a steadfast confidant for him within the cast.

Their love story began on the set of the Emmy Award-nominated show, which extends the story of the "Karate Kid" movies. "Cobra Kai" premiered on YouTube in 2018 and found a new home on Netflix in 2020. In the series, Mouser plays Sam LaRusso, daughter of karate champ Daniel LaRusso, and Buchanan plays the son of Daniel's longtime rival, Johnny Lawrence.

Jon Hurwitz, one of the show's co-creators, joked on X about the real-life romance being part of their plans, saying, "We’re matchmakers first, showrunners second. Our main goal with Cobra Kai was for Daniel LaRusso’s daughter and Johnny Lawrence’s son to fall in love in real life. Mission accomplished. So happy for them! A perfect couple!"

Before Buchanan, Mouser was in a long-term relationship with actor Brett Pierce, while Buchanan previously dated actress Lizze Broadway.

A California man left his girlfriend stunned when he proposed right after discovering the engagement ring he believed was lost in the Los Angeles wildfires, which had consumed all their possessions.

Brian McShea and Stephanie Raynor visited their now-destroyed home in Altadena on Friday, hoping to recover any items that survived the Eaton Fire. During their visit, McShea decided to look for the ring, as reported by ABC 7 Los Angeles.

On January 7, the couple evacuated their home before it was completely destroyed by the Eaton Fire, which burned over 14,000 acres in LA. This fire was part of a series of wildfires across Los Angeles County that destroyed more than 16,000 structures and resulted in at least 28 deaths earlier this month.

McShea suggested that Raynor help search through the debris near where his desk—where he had hidden the ring in a drawer—used to be, but he didn't reveal his true intentions.

"I was thinking, ‘Well, maybe the stone can survive and maybe we’ll find the little stone.’ I thought the ring was going to completely disintegrate," he told the station.

Despite low expectations, McShea searched for anything shiny.

"So we’re digging around where my desk is, again just looking for a stone — man, I really didn’t have a lot of hope," he shared with the local news outlet. "But you just brush away some rubble and there’s a little ring, and you pick that up and it’s actually a washer to something, and that happened like four times, and then you pick it up, and there’s a little diamond."

Having planned to propose soon before the fire, McShea couldn’t wait any longer and asked Raynor to marry him right there among the remains of their house.

"And I was on my knees and I was like, ‘Hey, will you marry me?’" he said. "And I’m in complete PPE, zipped up with the white hood and everything."

"And I’m crying," Raynor added.

While the couple has yet to set a wedding date, they wish to stay in the area and rebuild their home.

"We’re really hoping that Los Angeles can support Altadena in its rebuild effort for the next couple years and we’re able to return because this community is just so special," McShea told ABC 7 LA.

Kanye West and Wife Bianca Censori Split After 2 Years of Marriage https://www.familytoday.com/relationships/kanye-west-and-wife-bianca-censori-split-after-2-years-of-marriage/ Thu, 13 Feb 2025 22:12:26 +0000 https://www.familytoday.com/?p=70649 News of the couple's split comes just 11 days after their controversial Grammys red carpet appearance.

The post Kanye West and Wife Bianca Censori Split After 2 Years of Marriage appeared first on FamilyToday.

]]>
Kanye West and his wife Bianca Censori are reportedly going their separate ways after two years of marriage. According to the Daily Mail, which cites a source close to Kanye, the couple is heading toward divorce and have both contacted divorce lawyers.

The breakup comes shortly after Kanye and Bianca's controversial appearance at the Grammys, as well as Kanye's antisemitic, hateful, and misogynistic social media outburst, where he called himself a Nazi and expressed admiration for Adolf Hitler.

Censori's appearance at the February 2nd Grammy Awards, where she wore a sheer outfit that left her nearly naked, reportedly played a major role in the couple's split. Sources claim West instructed her to remove her fur coat on the red carpet in what he saw as an artistic statement intended to resemble the album cover for "Vultures 2."

While some defended the move as performance art, others accused West of using his wife for attention. Censori appeared visibly uncomfortable, and the backlash was swift. However, West defended the stunt.

"My wife's first red carpet opened a whole new world. I keep staring at this photo like I was staring in admiration that night. Thinking wow, I am so lucky to have a wife that is so smart, talented, brave, and hot," he posted on Twitter.

He later doubled down, calling her sheer outfit the "best Grammys outfit of all time."

In the days following the Grammys, West ignited further outrage with a string of offensive remarks. He went on an anti-Semitic rant online, declaring his admiration for Hitler and claiming to be a Nazi.

As criticism mounted, West responded in a profanity-laced tirade, claiming he has "dominion" over Censori but insisting she was not being forced into anything.

"People say the red carpet look was her decision. Yes, I don't make her do nothing she doesn't want to, but she definitely wouldn't have been able to do it without my approval, you stupid a* woke pawns."*

Since marrying West in 2022, Censori has frequently been seen in revealing outfits, sparking concerns from fans who believe she is being manipulated. The Grammy stunt further fueled speculation that she is under West's control.

Kanye and Bianca, who previously worked as a Yeezy architect, had a secret wedding around January 2023 and quickly dove into a whirlwind romance. They were never shy about being seen in public, with Bianca often wearing revealing outfits, peaking at the Grammys event. Now, it appears their relationship has come to an end.

The figure skating world is mourning the heartbreaking loss of 14-year-old Everly Livingston, a promising young skater who once dreamed of representing Team USA, after she perished alongside her family in a devastating plane collision over Washington, D.C.

Everly, her 11-year-old sister Alydia, and their parents, Peter and Donna Livingston, were aboard American Airlines Flight 5342 when it collided mid-air with an Army Black Hawk helicopter over the Potomac River on January 29th. The Virginia-based family was returning home from the U.S. Figure Skating Championships in Wichita, Kansas, where Everly and Alydia had attended the National Development Camp with fellow skaters.

Everly, a talented skater known for her grace and dedication, had once shared her hopes for the future in a touching interview with FOX5 DC. “My goals are to actually be a part of Team USA and travel around the world,” she said.

While Everly was described as “shy and reserved” compared to her younger sister, she was a force to be reckoned with on the ice. A sectional champion at both the intermediate and juvenile levels, she found her voice in skating and was seen as a rising star within the Washington Figure Skating Club. Alongside Alydia, the two were affectionately known as the “Ice Skating Sisters,” frequently sharing their routines and achievements on social media.

Their final Instagram post shared just five days before their tragic deaths, captured them smiling in front of the ice rink at Nationals. “If you look closely at Alydia’s badge… We were born ready for this,” they captioned the image, brimming with excitement and confidence.

Everly’s coach, Inna Volyanskaya, had taken to social media to celebrate her skater’s recent accomplishments just hours before the accident. “Congratulations to Everly and Franco for making it to the national development camp for their second year,” she wrote. “So proud of all their hard work and training they have done to get here. What an amazing way to start off the year!”

The Livingston sisters were among 14 members of the U.S. Figure Skating community aboard the ill-fated flight, leaving behind a grieving skating world that had watched their talents flourish.

Their loss is a reminder of how precious and fleeting life can be. While Everly’s dream of skating for Team USA was tragically cut short, her passion, dedication, and love for the sport will continue to inspire young skaters for years to come.

14-Year-Old Fatally Stabbed After Refusing to Hand Over Phone https://www.familytoday.com/living/14-year-old-fatally-stabbed-after-refusing-to-hand-over-phone/ Tue, 04 Feb 2025 21:45:48 +0000 https://www.familytoday.com/?p=70559 The brutal nature of the attack has sparked outrage across France.

]]>
A heartbreaking tragedy has shaken France after a 14-year-old boy was fatally stabbed for refusing to hand over his phone. The senseless act of violence occurred in southern Paris as the young victim was leaving a football training session.

According to police and prosecutors, two teenagers, aged 16 and 17, confronted the boy and demanded his phone. When he refused, one of them stabbed him in the shoulder. Despite efforts to save him, the boy later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

Authorities quickly identified and arrested the suspects with the help of a friend of the victim. Reports indicate that both suspects had prior run-ins with the law, having appeared in court just months earlier for violent theft. One suspect has since admitted to the attempted robbery and deadly stabbing.

The brutal nature of the attack has sparked outrage across the country. Paris police prefect Laurent Nunez acknowledged a disturbing rise in youth violence, even as overall youth delinquency has declined. Statistics show that minors are responsible for a third of violent thefts in the Paris region.

France’s Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau condemned the attack, calling it the work of “barbarians” and mourning the loss of a young life over something as trivial as a phone. He expressed the urgent need to rebuild a society where parents no longer fear for their children’s safety in such horrific ways.

This tragic event serves as a sobering reminder of the growing crisis of youth violence and the importance of instilling values of kindness, respect, and responsibility in future generations. No family should have to endure the pain of losing a child to such senseless brutality. In the wake of this devastating loss, communities must come together to ensure that love and compassion triumph over violence and fear.

Bill Gates Says Divorce From Melinda is the ‘Mistake’ He Regrets Most https://www.familytoday.com/relationships/bill-gates-says-divorce-from-melinda-is-the-mistake-he-regrets-most/ Fri, 31 Jan 2025 14:48:11 +0000 https://www.familytoday.com/?p=70511 In 2021, Bill and Melinda Gates shocked the world when they announced their split after 27 years of marriage.

The post Bill Gates Says Divorce From Melinda is the ‘Mistake’ He Regrets Most appeared first on FamilyToday.

]]>
Even the most successful people in the world are not immune to heartbreak. Billionaire and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates recently shared that his 2021 divorce from Melinda French Gates was the biggest mistake he regrets. After 27 years of marriage, the couple shocked the world when they announced their split, marking the end of their long partnership in both life and philanthropy.

In a recent interview with The Times of London, Gates, 69, reflected on the difficulty of the divorce, admitting it was a "miserable" experience for both him and Melinda. “There is a certain wonderfulness to spending your entire adult life with one person because of the memories and depth of things you have done and having kids together," he shared.

The end of their marriage meant losing not just a life partner but also a best friend—his meditation buddy, walking companion, and fellow book club member. Despite these changes, the two remained committed to co-parenting their three children and attending family events together.

Gates and Melinda met long before he became one of the richest and most influential people in the world. She was by his side as he navigated immense success, and together, they built the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, one of the most powerful charitable organizations in the world. Even after the divorce, the pair continued working together at the foundation until Melinda resigned last year to focus on her own philanthropic efforts.

“She saw me through a lot,” Gates admitted, reflecting on their time together.

While the couple has parted ways, Melinda remains dedicated to helping women and families through her work with Pivotal Ventures, an organization she founded in 2015. She also secured $12.5 billion from Gates to support charitable initiatives on behalf of women and families.

Melinda previously shared in an interview that trust issues played a major role in their split. While reports surfaced about Gates’ past infidelity, she said the divorce wasn’t about “one moment” but rather a realization that their marriage was no longer healthy.

Gates’ reflection on his divorce serves as a reminder that relationships, no matter how strong, require trust, commitment, and continual effort. Even after decades together, couples can find themselves growing apart or facing challenges that are difficult to overcome.

]]>
For many parents, the empty nest phase can bring a mix of emotions—loneliness, reflection, and, eventually, rediscovery. Actress Andie MacDowell knows this firsthand. The Hollywood star recently shared on The Drew Barrymore Show that she made a major life change, leaving Los Angeles behind to start fresh in South Carolina after her children moved out.

MacDowell is embracing this new chapter of her life, though she admits the transition wasn’t easy. Raising her three children—Justin, Rainey, and Margaret Qualley—was a central part of her world for decades. When they left home to pursue their own paths, she found herself struggling with a “huge void.”

“Margaret really was kind of telling me I was supposed to be having the time of my life, but I wasn’t,” MacDowell revealed. “But now I am. I’m having the time of my life now. It’s really good.”

The move to South Carolina allowed her to focus on self-care, personal growth, and new experiences. She described this shift as a turning point, one that has made her “happier than [she] has been in a long time.”

MacDowell understands the challenges of adjusting to an empty nest and even offered advice to Drew Barrymore, who will one day experience the same transition with her daughters.

“I’ll tell you what not to do,” she joked. “Come to me, because I have all the information on how not to waste your time, how to get on with it and have a good time.”

Her story is a reminder that life doesn’t stop when the kids leave home—it’s an opportunity to explore new passions, embrace change, and rediscover personal joy.

Along with her new outlook on life, MacDowell has also been focusing on her health. She recently opened up about being diagnosed with piriformis syndrome, a condition that affects the sciatic nerve and can cause pain and numbness. Instead of opting for surgery, she found relief through exercise and strength training.

“I have to work my tiny little bottom and my hips [with a personal trainer]. I do it every day,” she shared, crediting her dedication to fitness as her “miracle” treatment.

MacDowell’s journey is an inspiration to parents who may be struggling with the changes that come with an empty nest. Her story proves that while saying goodbye to daily life with your children is bittersweet, it’s also a chance for new beginnings, self-discovery, and embracing joy in unexpected places.

Her advice? Lean into the change, take care of yourself, and most importantly—enjoy the journey.

Fox News Host Asks ‘What Kind of Husband Goes Grocery Shopping With Wife?’ https://www.familytoday.com/relationships/fox-news-host-outraged-by-kamala-harris-grocery-shopping-with-her-husband/ Tue, 28 Jan 2025 23:16:37 +0000 https://www.familytoday.com/?p=70457 “What kind of husband goes grocery shopping with his wife?” Fox News’ Jesse Watters asked.

The post Fox News Host Asks ‘What Kind of Husband Goes Grocery Shopping With Wife?’ appeared first on FamilyToday.

]]>
In a segment of Jesse Watters Primetime, the Fox News host playful jabbed at former Vice President Kamala Harris and her husband, Doug Emhoff, after the pair was spotted grocery shopping together in California. Watters’ quip, “What kind of husband goes grocery shopping with his wife?” sparked mixed reactions from viewers and social media commentators.

The incident unfolded as Watters highlighted Harris and Emhoff’s recent outing at 99 Ranch Market, an Asian grocery store in Westwood. While poking fun at Harris for launching a blog post-presidency, Watters segued into a critique of grocery prices, saying, “She just found out about inflation.” His comments took a turn when he zeroed in on Emhoff’s decision to join his wife on the grocery run, pulling a mock-shocked expression as he asked, “What kind of husband goes grocery shopping with his wife?”

Watters’ remarks didn’t go unnoticed, sparking a spirited debate during his “Text Jesse” segment. One viewer from New Jersey responded, “Smart men go grocery shopping with their wives. It’s called price control.” Watters seemed to appreciate the humor, replying, “Touché.” Another viewer from California chimed in, “What kind of man goes grocery shopping with his wife? A GOOD ONE.”

While Watters entertained the responses, he maintained his stance in jest, suggesting, “You don’t need to go grocery shopping with your wife. You should be able to exert price control from afar.”

The grocery shopping discussion spilled onto social media, with commentators adding their own spin to the so-called “grocerygate.” Right-wing commentator Eric Daugherty humorously pointed out the perceived hypocrisy of Harris and Emhoff using plastic bags during their shopping trip, tweeting, “JUST IN: Kamala Harris and Doug Emhoff seen grocery shopping together with plastic bags, violating left-wing environmental doctrine.”

While the segment was largely tongue-in-cheek, it tapped into a larger cultural conversation about shared responsibilities in relationships. In an era where many couples split household duties, grocery shopping together has become a symbol of partnership and teamwork for some. Others view it as unnecessary, preferring to divide and conquer tasks.

For many, a shared trip to the grocery store isn’t just about picking out produce; it’s an opportunity to spend time together and make collaborative decisions. Research suggests that couples who share household responsibilities often report higher satisfaction in their relationships. Whether a chore or a date-like outing, grocery shopping together reflects the evolving dynamics of modern marriage.

Kamala Harris and Doug Emhoff have long portrayed a united front in their personal and professional lives. As the first Second Gentleman in U.S. history, Emhoff has been vocal about embracing his role as a supportive spouse and challenging traditional gender norms.

Watters’ quip has sparked a larger dialogue about partnership and gender roles in today’s marriages. Whether you’re pro-joint grocery shopping or prefer to handle the task solo, one thing’s clear: this debate has given us all food for thought.
